Under the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities, draft minutes of all full Parish Council Meetings should be published within a month of the meeting. The Final version of the March 2024 Payment Schedule can be viewed by clicking the link (which will show in blue when available) and previous payment schedules can be found on the Parish Council Finance Page.
All meetings are held at the Village Hall at 7.30pm unless stated otherwise. Meetings are normally held on the second Thursday of alternate months. Please be aware that filming and other reporting might take place at the meeting.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend and we aim to make our meetings friendly, accessible and helpful to the community we serve. There is a public forum near the beginning of each meeting when reports are heard from the District and County Councillors and members of the public are invited to give their views and question the Parish Council on issues on the agenda or to raise issues for consideration at future meetings. Please familiarise yourself with the Protocol for Public Participation at Meetings.
Members of the public are welcome to stay for the meeting (with the exception of matters excluded for press and public interest) but may not contribute within the Parish Council itself unless invited to do so by the Chairman. If you intend to come to the meeting for a specific purpose, it is helpful to let the Clerk know beforehand but not essential.
Agendas for meetings are published with a minimum of 3 working days notice prior to the meeting. No item can be considered or a decision made unless it is published on the meeting agenda. Questions can be asked or problems reported at any time - you don't need to wait for a meeting - simply contact the Clerk.
